WrapChat prohibits any content or behaviour involving the sexual abuse or exploitation of children. Users must be 18 or older. We remove violating content, suspend or ban accounts, preserve evidence where required by law, and report CSAE to appropriate authorities.
🛡️ Our Commitment
WrapChat is committed to protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation on our platform. We do not allow child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualisation of minors, or any attempt to exploit children through messaging, calls, profiles, photos, videos, or links shared on WrapChat.
These standards apply to all users, content, and interactions on the WrapChat mobile application and services operated at wrapchat.in.
🚫 Prohibited Content & Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on WrapChat:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, videos, audio, text, links, or files
- Grooming, solicitation, or sexual communication directed at a minor
- Sharing, requesting, or distributing content that sexualises minors
- Using WrapChat while under 18 years of age
- Impersonating a minor or misrepresenting age to contact minors
- Trafficking, exploitation, or coercion involving minors
- Any conduct that violates applicable child protection laws, including the POCSO Act, 2012 and the IT Act, 2000
🔒 Prevention Measures
- Age requirement: WrapChat is for adults 18+ only. Accounts suspected of belonging to minors are investigated and removed.
- Mutual connect model: Users cannot message each other without mutual acceptance of a connection request.
- Block & Report: In-app tools allow users to block and report profiles, chats, photos, and calls.
- Moderation review: Reported content is reviewed by our Trust & Safety team.
- Account enforcement: Violating accounts may be suspended or permanently banned without prior notice.
🚨 Reporting CSAE
If you encounter suspected CSAE on WrapChat, report it immediately using one of the following methods:
- In-app: Use Block & Report on the user, chat, or content
- Email: wrapchat9@gmail.com
- Grievance Officer: wrapchat9@gmail.com
Urgent safety reports are prioritised. WrapChat aims to acknowledge urgent CSAE reports within 24 hours.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. In India, you may also report cyber crimes at cybercrime.gov.in.
⚖️ Enforcement
When WrapChat identifies or receives credible reports of CSAE:
- Violating content is removed without delay
- Associated accounts are suspended or permanently banned
- Relevant evidence is preserved as required by law
- Confirmed CSAE is reported to appropriate authorities
WrapChat does not provide warnings for confirmed CSAE violations.
🏛️ Law Enforcement Cooperation
WrapChat cooperates with law enforcement and authorised government agencies in India and other jurisdictions when legally required. We may disclose account and content information in response to valid legal process related to child safety investigations.
